Continental Steel Pte Ltd (“Consteel”) is pleased to announce its investment in Boon Chang Structure Pte Ltd (“Boon Chang”). Founded in 1994, Boon Chang is a leading structural steel specialist in Singapore. Boon Chang has successfully executed structural steel projects such as: Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Ocean Financial Centre and various petrochemical plants in Jurong Island. Boon Chang has consistently and reliably added value to Singapore’s structural steel industry over the past 20 years.
Boon Chang, an accredited structural steel fabricator, brings expertise that will provide a synergistic extension of Consteel’s products and service capabilities. Together, the Consteel Group is well positioned to take on major infrastructure projects in Singapore.

Continental Steel (“Consteel”) has commissioned a new Blast and Prime line, complete with an electric heated drying tunnel (“Facility”) for the surface treatment of steel products. Manufactured and installed by Kaltenbach Group (“Kaltenbach”), a European technology leader in steel processing equipment, the Facility can process up to 20,000 mt of steel products like plates, beams, hollow sections, angles and channels (“Product”) annually.
