Good evening everyone,

Thank you all for being here tonight.

It is a real pleasure to see so many familiar faces gathered together — our colleagues, partners, friends, and families. Tonight is not just a dinner. It is a chance for us to pause, look back, and recognise the journey that Continental Steel has taken over the years.

When we think about a company anniversary, it is easy to talk about numbers — years in business,
tonnes of steel, projects completed, customers served. Those things are important, of course. But to me, the real story of Continental Steel has always been about people.

It is about the people who built the company before us.

It is about the people who show up every day — in the office, in the warehouse, on the road, in front of customers, behind the scenes — doing the work properly, solving problems, and keeping the company moving.

It is about our customers and partners, who have trusted us over many years.

And it is about the families who support all of us, especially during the long days, the difficult periods, and the times when work follows us home.

Like every business, we have had good years and difficult years. The steel business is not always easy. Markets move, costs change, customers become more demanding, and the world around us keeps shifting. But through all of this, Continental Steel has continued to stand because of a simple foundation: reliability, hard work, and trust.

We may not always be the loudest company. We may not always be the flashiest. But we try to be dependable. We try to do what we say. We try to look after our customers, our suppliers, and our people. That is something worth being proud of.

Tonight, I want to especially thank our staff. Every department matters. Sales, purchasing, accounts, operations, warehouse, logistics, management, administration — every part of the company depends on the others. No one succeeds alone. A company
only works when people take responsibility, help each other, and care enough to do the small things properly.

To our long-serving colleagues, thank you for your loyalty and patience. You have carried the culture of the company through many seasons.

To our newer colleagues, thank you for bringing fresh energy and ideas. You are part of the next
chapter of this company.

To our partners and friends, thank you for walking with us. Business relationships are built over time, and we are grateful for your trust.

And to everyone here tonight, thank you for being part of the Continental Steel story.
