Continental Steel (“Consteel”) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Boon Chang Structure Pte Ltd (“Boon Chang”), has successfully achieved AISC certification for structural steel fabricators.
The AISC Quality Management Systems (QMS) Certification sets the quality standard for the structural steel industry and is the most recognized quality Certification program for that industry in America.
Certified companies would have gone through a rigorous initial evaluation and are subject to annual audits. These evaluations require a comprehensive administrative review, a documentation audit, and an on-site audit of the firm’s quality management system.
A key focus for AISC certification is quality control. Fabricating structural steel components involves processes that must meet stringent standards to guarantee the structural integrity of the final product. AISC certification ensures that fabricators employ advanced quality control measures throughout production, from material selection and cutting, to assembly and welding. This commitment to quality ensures the structural performance of the steel and contributes to the overall safety of the structure.
Boon Chang is the only AISC certified fabricator in Singapore. (AISC Certified Companies – International)
